How to Create Wealth With Your MLM Business

Written by SANDRAESSEX on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 in Business.

If you ever had any doubt that wealth through MLM was possible, welcome to this article. On the other hand, if you’ve always believed that MLM is a means to great wealth, but just didn’t know how to make it happen, welcome too. Wealth through network marketing or MLM is real and truly possible.

It doesn’t matter what your experience has been, MLM is still the number one cost-effective method of substantial income for the average Jane and Joe. And quite a few marketers have actually gone on to strike it rich in this activity, all legitimately.

Multi-Level Marketing is a system of marketing company products through the use of independent distributors. These distributors typically establish and market their own sales force and recruit other distributors to sell these same products. These form a network of sales people for a particular product or company.

This arrangement frees the manufacturers of the chores of retailing along with the attendant advert and other marketing costs. The manufacturers are happy to share most of these saved costs with distributors by way of commissions, bonuses, and profit sharing plans.

It is a business strategy that is increasingly being put to good use by millions of home business owners worldwide. And in a global economy mired in recession, the MLM industry continues to produce mega-millionaires.

How to Create Wealth with Your MLM Business: To have a story of success to tell in your online MLM, there are specific things you need to get right. Although your personal talents count for something, that alone won’t take you far. Listed below are 4 things that will guarantee your success in network marketing:

Select the right company: this is hugely important. If you get this part wrong, you’ll struggle for long! A lot of MLM companies out there are not solid.

And quite a few are outright scams. Even among those that are genuine, some have a line of products that just don’t sell—either due to very high price tags, or low quality products. So make sure you do a careful search before joining an MLM company.

Basically, you should focus your search on those that have been around for at least 5 years and have a good track record. Focus also on companies whose products receive good reviews. Your company of choice must also have a reputation for back-end support for distributors.

Have a steady supply of leads: remember that in MLM, by far the larger percentage of your earnings will come from the efforts of your team members. This means that the more people you bring into your network, the higher your earning potential. Need I tell you what happens if you run out of people to recruit?

I guess not. Fortunately lead generation is now made easy by the availability of several online recruiting methods. But you also need to give serious thoughts to who you recruit into your team.

Don’t bring in those who aren’t ready to learn or work. They could sabotage your good efforts. Better to have a few credible downline team that are fully committed to implementing the strategies that would guarantee success for all of you.

Diversify: This means that you should lead off not with your business but with a funded proposal. You should join a lead generation community that offer this type of system. This would make adverts and prospecting easier for you.

Diversifying with a front end funded proposal will not only bring you multiple streams of income, it will also spread your risks in such a way that the bad fortune your company closing wouldn’t bring an end to your income.

Automate your business: this is specifically saying you should market your business on the internet. You need to master online recruiting techniques. This is a sure way of ensuring you’ll have a steady supply of leads, which is so vital for your growth and success in MLM. There’s simply no limit to the number of persons you can market to as long as you are strutting your stuff on the internet.

Above everything else, do not ever consider quitting. There may be times when quitting seems like the only reasonable thing to do. Continue anyway. No business is without setbacks. MLM is no exception.

The millionaires you often hear about today in this business are people who simply refused to quit when the average person would have done so.

You must continue to learn and improve on various aspects of your MLM business — prospecting, recruiting, self-branding, marketing, follow-ups, etc. These are ways to build wealth with your online business. And it goes without saying that you should also teach members of your team to implement these strategies too.

Home Business-Take Action Today, You Know Enough Already!

Written by SANDRAESSEX on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 in Business.

Are you ready to start your home business? No amount of time spent preparing to launch your MLM business will deliver the goals and dreams you have set for it unless you……finally take action to implement your business plans.

Successful people take action and unsuccessful people procrastinate. In fact, successful people not only take action, but they do so at the very first opportunity, now!

When presented with opportunities that would change their lives, unsuccessful people will continually put off the commencement date. They would rather spend eternity learning and strategizing, fine-tuning, calculating, etc.

To them no time is the right time. So they keep waiting for that ‘perfect’ moment when everything would be just right. Unfortunately, such moments don’t ever come. My dear friend, I have a word of wisdom for you from of old: nothing will ever be attempted if first all conditions must be right!

Having learned the basics of that home business you desire to run, I invite you to just take action right away. Just do it and see what happens. Along the way, keep taking note of your progress, or even the lack of it, so you can reflect on it later.

The truth is that you’ll never drive a car if first you have to know every single part of a car, how many persons have had an auto accident, how you’re going to be able to maintain your car, what safety record you’re likely to have, what type of other road users you’re likely to meet, and what your general driving experience would be like, etc!

You see, most of these things naturally fall into place the moment we get going. It’s like that fog you see some days when you look out your window early in the morning. A few feet away from where you are it seems to cover everything as far as your eyes can see. But what happens when you set out despite the fog?

It takes care of itself; it clears off every step of the way as you go! Imagine that you had to wait until every bit of it was cleared from the horizon? Either you wouldn’t have gone anywhere, or you’d have set out way too late.

You get the idea. It is no different when it comes to starting a home business. Do not let fear of failure paralyze you. Do not indefinitely put off your launch date. Do not think you can possibly understand and clear all relevant questions or concerns about the business before you can start. That’s not necessary.

There’ll always be a few gray areas. That is why starting a business requires a measure of faith. But your anticipation of success has to be stronger than your fear of failure.

There would be no huge corporations or small firms today if everybody had waited until everything was perfect. Imagine that! That means we wouldn’t have the likes of GM, Citigroup, Chevron, Microsoft, Compaq, etc.

Something else I need to mention is that you don’t have to insist on starting big. If you have sufficient funds to hit it off big time, well and good, at least for your personal ego.

But really, considering that you’re still testing the waters, it’s actually advisable for you to begin on a relatively small scale, so that any mistake made or money lost due to “rookie errors” may not have a profound effect on you. Trust me on this, it’s always better for a newcomer to start small and then scale things up gradually.

Remember that no one can make you successful but you and your actions. If you’re going to have success in that venture you’ve been contemplating, you’ll have to take action, now!

It’s only by starting to implement the many things you’ve learned about home business that you will have an inspiring story to tell tomorrow. But if you continue to ‘get ready to get ready,’ then you may only have tales of “would have” and “should have” to tell many years from now. I bet you won’t let that happen, would you?

As a network Marketing Business Builder being able to attract daily targeted MLM leads to your business is the key to your MLM Success. How would you like to attract 50-100 leads to your MLM business daily?

Learning these MLM Marketing Skills will help you build your MLM business. You can visit my blog and website uniquemillionaires.com to find out more complete information on Lead Generation Training.

Tips For Making a Lasting Impression at Networking Events

Written by JennyHeart on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 in Business.

How can you make a lasting impression at networking events? Have you ever attended a trade show or convention, shook a bunch of hands, collected a stack of business cards, and then the next day you go through the cards and can’t match faces (or more importantly, conversations) to names? Or do you remember someone you had a good chat with, but can’t recall the name of their business in order to look them up? Now look at the other end of that spectrum. Are you able say that you were effective in making a lasting impression on people so they’ll keep you in mind for future opportunities or transactions? How many of those people do you think will remember YOU? The next time you attend one of those large marcus evans business events, get your game in check before you work the room. Here are some tips:

    1. Distinguish yourself. Clothing is a good way to do this. No need to be outlandish - women, you could try an unusual neckless, men, a hand-painted tie. Whatever you do, make sure you are at least impeccably groomed - dress for the occasion, shave, trim your nails (you’re going to be shaking a lot of hands), and make sure you’re not wearing overpowering amounts of cologne or perfume. You want to be remembered in a good way. Although you’re there to make a social/intellectual impression, physical appeal is important as well.

    2. Be fully present and engaged in all your conversations. Make eye contact, pay attention to what you’re saying, respond promptly. If you’re only half there, you’re cheating yourself of potentially valuable information and possibly being rude to the person you’re talking with. Things have a tendency to move forward naturally when all parties are fully engaged. Even if a chat seemed like a waste of your time, at least you gave it the attention it deserved to be able to make a judgment call about whether that person would be a good contact. And who knows, later on, that connection could come in handy, even if it doesn’t just now.

    3. Reiterate key points about you. In other words, find discreet ways to “plug” your who, what, when, where, why & how. If you’re at a particularly large networking event, such as a business convention hosted by marcus evans, people aren’t going to remember lengthy facts about you. At best, they might walk away with one or two key points: your name, company name, business/industry, product, location. You need to subtly increase the occurrence of these “keywords” in your conversation without sounding like a commercial for a local used car lot.

    4. Give your two cents.

When talking to a group, whether sitting around a table at a luncheon or just gathered around in some other setting, it’s important to contribute to the conversation in a meaningful way if you want to make yourself stand out. Without dominating the conversation or saying something just to have spoken publicly, you can create value for yourself and make yourself memorable if you make one or two intelligent, impressionable statements that add to the discussion.

    5. Ask good questions. This shows that you’re paying attention to the person you’re networking with and it will often garner you more valuable information. “How did you get started in solar technology?” or “How did you come up with this or that product/idea?” are good questions, but the best and most thought provoking inquiries are going to be specific to your conversation and will flow naturally as long as you’re engaged in the talk.

Expert Tips Guaranteed Take Your Work at Home MLM Business to the Top

Written by TammyMorton on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 in Business.

During this nasty recession, many of us are using multi-level marketing as a dynamic form for earning profits. MLM has appealed to lots of people who need further income through a work at home MLM business.

    A Glance At Multi-Level Marketing

With MLM, you take on the role of being the entrepreneur when you buy into the franchise, retail product and help the business builders that you hire accomplish success. For every product you retail, you earn a profit. For every person you induct, you get compensated for it. And for all of the sales produced by you and your team, you get a certain share of total sales, as do they ( simply to be clear, this doesn’t describe all opportunities ). This idea sounds straightforward but do not be fooled. This business as with any business needs a promoting formula and sales skills that many new entrepreneurs lack.

    The Negative News

Many people who start a work from home MLM business are having a struggle with selling products and recruiting. Actually, over 97% of social marketers spend more money than they make. On the other hand, there are those who understand how to market professionally and make a fortune in any business that they start. So, where does the difference lie? And what can you do to achieve success in your planned home work MLM business? These are some of the fundamentals :

    Generating Prospects

To be successful in any business you’ve got to know how to get folks in your sales funnel. If you don’t know how to get people to your funnel, your business is at risk.

There are online and offline methods to generating leads like sending postcards, social media promoting, educational conventions ( my personal number one ), for example.

All these techniques work splendidly and are much better than buying opportunity leads. Opportunity leads will bleed your business dry before you get an opportunity to turn a profit. This is one of the most common reasons why so many people go broke in their MLM busineses.

    Relationship Promoting

O.K, so now you generated the lead. Now what do you do with them? You build a relationship thru a collection of emails. The mails will permit your list to begin to know you, while you are teaching them. It’s good to e-mail academic articles to them as well as hold tutorial webinars or conventions which will solve a problem that they’re having. The more that you empower and teach your list, the more they are willing to trust you, and eventually purchase from you. Everybody on your list will go through your sales funnel in the mean time, which brings us to the final step

    Monetizing Your List

Now this is where it is getting fun. Each person on your list will decide to purchase from you, join your business, or simply stick around to get free information from you. Either way, you are making profits and coping with folk who sought you out.

If you’ve got the correct promotion technique, you can automate much of your business so that you can concentrate on relationship promoting. With the right system you can operate like the pros and have the type of lifestyle that they may be able to enjoy.

The amazing thing about learning how to market professionally is that you are going to be able to earn cash in any market without regard for any recession, economic boom, or great depression. After you learn this, no one will be ready to take this away from you. This is true power!

A work from home MLM business is a great vehicle to creating a long-term sustainable income. To learn more great tips to help you succeed in your business and to learn how to get leads for free to make some FANTASTIC income online, make sure you read the instructions in the resource box below.

    Holding a Successful Business Conference

Written by JennyHeart on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 in Business.

The process of managing an event starts with choosing a location and a venue. People are more likely to attend the event if they can reach it easily, so it’s best if it’s in a central location or hub that’s accessible via air and other major forms of transportation. Some might be dissuaded to attend an event if it is in a remote location, but depending on the specifics of the event itself, that might be part of its appeal. The more exclusive the event, the more exotic/unusual the location has room to be.

Events can come in many forms - they could be full of leaders and executives in specific industries or they could be televised celebrity gatherings. No matter what kind of event you’re working with - be it an award ceremony or a corporate function - it will need to be managed down to the last detail. A professional approach to event management, such as that offered by a company like marcus evans, can give remarkable results, as long as the event goals are kept within sight.

If you choose to manage an event yourself versus hiring a corporate hospitality agency like marcus evans to do it, you’ll need to make sure you get all the right permits and complete the appropriate paperwork regarding health and safety measures such as capacity limits, fire exits, etc. An event promoter should have public liability insurance and complete a risk assessment form.

The venue must be able to accommodate all the guests, facilities, equipment, etc., required for successful execution of the event. Maybe all you need is a PA system, a stage, a podium and some chairs. On the other side of that coin, you may need several large conference rooms, stadium seating, an outdoor stage, VIP areas, and much more sophisticated infrastructure. Consider the size of your event, what needs to be accomplished there in terms of accommodations, and then make a detailed inventory list before you commit to a venue. If the venue in question does not have the facilities your event requires, see if you can find a cost-effective way to have them temporarily installed.

Branded decor is usually a wise decision when it comes to most events, particularly business or industry-related gatherings. Branding can go anywhere, from logos on banners and wristbands to free t-shirts. Branding provides the visual impact that instills memories of the event into the minds of the attendees. If you’re promoting a product or service at your event, consider handing out samples of your product, items that contain your brand logo, or other freebies, such as discounts and offers exclusive to event attendees.

Perhaps you can arrange for an open bar and get the event organizer or a drink sponsor to pay for it - that’s brand recognition for them! If you’re providing food and/or refreshments at your event, think about what’s appropriate. Daytime functions are probably a little more suited to tea, coffee and water. Nighttime functions would be more conducive to alcoholic beverages.

Get the Most Out of Your Unibind Machine

Written by JeffMcRitchie on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 in Business.

Now that you’ve bit the bullet and purchased a Unibind thermal binding machine for your office, perhaps you’re wondering how you can get the most out of your new device. There are a number of ways you can do that, from choosing the right supplies to taking advantage of your machine’s impressive binding capacity. Here are five ways you can get the most out of your Unibind machine.

    1) Get the right supplies. One of the best things about this binding system is the incredible array of supplies that are available. Unibind manufactures a number of great covers including their PhotoBook, SteelBook, and SteelMat/SteelCrystal products. The PhotoBook and SteelBook supplies are perfect for when you want your document to look like a real hardcover book. Meanwhile, a SteelMat or SteelCrystal cover is the right choice for making professional-looking sales reports and the like. You can even make your own covers by using a SteelBack spine. There really are a lot of options available and they’re guaranteed to make your documents look like a million bucks.

    2) Use the right size. When you’re deciding which cover or spine to use, you need to consider the size you’ll need. This is essential because if you choose a cover that’s not thick enough for your document, it’s very possible that not all of the pages will be bound. Likewise, if you use a cover that’s too large, your final product will look a bit off and you might find yourself losing pages from your books. To choose the right cover/spine, you can use the Unibind Spine Measurer, an inexpensive device that will help you choose the right one.

    3) Bind a lot of books at once. Unibind machines can bind one document with no problem, but they’re really great for binding a whole bunch of documents at the same time. Even the smallest device, the XU138, can bind up to 8 documents in one go, which is quite a lot. Using your machine to simultaneously bind a lot of books will help you save time and finish the job a lot faster.

    4) Use your machine’s cooling rack. When your books are bound, it’s essential to place them on the machine’s cooling rack. This helps the adhesive in the spines to see properly, creating a strong bond that will keep your pages securely in the book. You should let your books cool off for up to 15 minutes before you begin using them. Note: when moving your books, try not to come in contact with the spines. The spines will be very warm and you could possibly burn yourself.

    5) Design and use your own covers. When you use SteelBack spines, you have the chance to create your own covers. Just place your cover with your pages, insert them into the spine, and bind. Afterward, just tear off the paper liner of the spine and your cover will be revealed. These materials allow you to get really creative and yet still enjoy the strong bond that comes with using a Unibind spine.

These are five ways you can get the most of your Unibind machine. So get your supplies ready and start binding now!

If you’re interested in purchasing a Unibind Thermal Binding Device, you should really visit MyBinding.com. They have these products available at great prices and they also have a fantastic selection of Unibind Covers and Spines. Plus, they offer free shipping on all orders over $75.00.

Get to Work With Fellowes Starter Kits

Written by JeffMcRitchie on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 in Business.

When you buy a new office machine, there’s no getting around it: you’re going to need some supplies. This is true especially when you buy a pouch laminator or a plastic comb binding machine. But sometimes it can be overwhelming picking out the right supplies. After all, what if you pick the wrong size or color? Well, don’t fret because if you recently bought a Fellowes laminator or comb binding machine, they have an easy solution for you: starter kits. These are sets that contain enough supplies to help you get started using your new device. Here’s a brief look at what they contain.

    * Laminating Starter Kits. If you bought a pouch laminator, you’re going to need laminating pouches. These supplies come in a lot of sizes. Some are small enough to envelop a business card while others can laminate paper that’s letter-sized or larger. Chances are you’ll need a variety of sizes so you can laminate a sign one day and a handful of index cards the next. That’s where a Fellowes laminating starter kit can come in handy. Each one contains a variety of pouches so you can laminate a bunch of different sized items. Kits can contain either 25, 52, or 130 pouches, so choose the one that has the right number for you. The 25-pack has pouches that range in thickness from 3 to 5 mil, while the other packs have 3-mil pouches. These packs are a wonderful way for you to experiment with your new laminator without spending a lot of money on supplies.

    * Comb Binding Starter Kits. One of the more challenging aspects of plastic comb binding is knowing which size comb you need to use. There are a lot of sizes available, from the very thin 1/4″ ones to the largest which are 2 inches thick. Plus, combs often come in boxes of 100, and if you don’t know what size to buy, eventually you’re going to wind up wasting a lot of money. A Fellowes starter kit can help you avoid that scenario because it contains three of the most common sizes of comb: 1/4″, 5/16″, and 3/8″. Depending on the set you choose, you’ll have 10, 20, or 50 combs so you can experiment and see which one works best for your documents. (And your office won’t be cluttered by the ones that didn’t work. And you’ll save money!) Plus, each set also includes a handful of clear, white, blue, and black binding covers. These covers are both letter-sized and slightly larger (8.75″ x 11.25″) so you’ll definitely be able to make your document look its best.

Finally, depending on which Fellowes machine you bought, you may have had the good fortune of finding one of these kits in the box your machine came in. If not, they’re still a great way to get started with your new laminator or binding machine. Even if your device is made by another manufacturer, such as GBC, these sets can still be used to help you get your feet wet. Get yourself a Fellowes starter kit today so you can enter the productive worlds of pouch laminating and plastic comb binding!

If you’d like to purchase the Fellowes Laminating Starter Kit or the Plastic Comb Binding Package, you should really visit MyBinding.com. They have these great products available at low prices.

    Great Binding Options From GBC

Written by JeffMcRitchie on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 in Business.

General Binding Corporation is an office product kingpin and with good reason. The company’s been in business since the 1940’s and it really offers some of the best, most reliable, and innovative binding systems available in North America. Here’s a quick look at what document finishing options are available for your office from GBC.

    * Plastic combs. This is one of the most commonly used binding methods because it’s affordable, easy, and it can bind documents containing more than 400 pages. GBC manufactures both the combs and machines needed to utilize this method. Some of the best devices available for this type of binding are the CombBind C430 and the C800pro.

    * Twin-loop wire. If your documents really need to look professional, twin-loop wire spines are a great choice. It’s an attractive method that’s frequently used by marketing firms, publishers, and so on. GBC makes hole punches and wire closers such as the powerful TL2900 that can help you bind with wire and produce fantastic-looking books.

    * Color coil. Want a little color in your world? Use color coil spines. These materials are available in just about every hue you could ever want, from basic black to fuchsia, gray to gold. They can also bind up to an incredible 440 pages. Devices such as the CC2700 can help you give your documents that extra splash of color they need. The company even makes coil crimpers so you can finish off your work perfectly.

    * Velobind and SureBind. This method is what you should use when your documents require a strong bond but you still want to be able to edit them later. You can also use it if you want a totally permanent bond. Velobind strips can bind documents that are more than 2 inches thick, making this a great method for those lengthy reports and proposals. GBC has a great lineup of Velobind and SureBind machines to choose from if this method interests you.

    * ProClick and ZipBind spines. Both of these two types of spines will not only add a touch of class to your document, it will allow you to make changes to it later. That’s because they can be re-opened at a later time. Most GBC comb binding machines are compatible with ZipBind spines because the spines require the same 19-hole punching pattern used when working with combs. However, there’s a whole series of ProClick equipment available, including the powerful Pronto P3000 that can bind a 100-page book in just 6 seconds. ProClick spines can even be used by hand, making them very versatile.

    * Paper and covers. Finally, GBC has a wonderful selection of paper and covers you can use to give your document the great look it deserves. Some of the paper is even pre-punched so you can use it immediately with your CombBind or VeloBind machine. Also, depending on the cover you need, chances are GBC makes it. They have a vast array of covers including ones that are opaque, translucent, customizable, and so on. There are even thermal binding covers available.

General Binding Corporation really lives up to its name. The company not only offers an incredibly large amount of document finishing devices, it even makes the supplies you’ll need to get the job done. To make your documents look great, why not take advantage of what GBC has to offer?

Using an Electronic Whiteboard For Video Conferencing

Written by JeffMcRitchie on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 in Business.

To coin a phrase, the electronic whiteboards that are available today are not your father’s whiteboards. With several capabilities you may never have even thought of, the electronic whiteboards of today are advanced business tools. Here are a few tips on how to best use them.

    Practice.

Practice using a whiteboard, you say? Well, yes. When it comes to the most advanced models of whiteboard, we can’t stress enough that you will want to get an idea of what it is capable of. For starters, you will want to get an idea of which pen colors translate best, as well as a general feel for the instrument. To be exact, it will be worth your while to make sure that the information you are writing on the board gets transferred to electronic data, and it can sometimes take a little time to learn how much pressure you need exert for the software to pick it all up. Not that this is a difficult task, it is just something that you will want to have down before it’s time for your big presentation.

There are so many options available with electronic boards, that you will want to make sure you spend some time getting to know what its capabilities are before you use it. The enhanced capabilities of these boards will not only make your presentation better an more convenient for your audience, the advanced may surprise and delight your audience and make your video conference really shine.

    Project.

If you do a lot of remote video conferencing, and your audiences vary in size or tend to the large, you will want to make sure that the board you purchase can connect to a digital projector. That way, most larger halls or even theater sized venues are not a problem as long as these venues are equipped with either some sort of screen or a large expanse of wall for you to project your images onto. As with any presentation, you want to make sure that every member of the audience can see whatever it is that you are writing on your board, and by using a good projector, you can multiply the size of your image many times over.

    Connect.

Most of the better electronic whiteboards today allow you to do all sorts of things that you might never have imagined. Typically, using a USB port (and even sometimes via bluetooth or Wifi) you can save your presentation for printing, emailing, and otherwise sharing the information right onto your participants’ laptops or PDAs. This is a great way to ensure that everyone in the meeting emerges with exactly the same data. With a lot of these newer whiteboards, you can save each and every board as a PDF before it is erased, and as you move along through your presentation. Some boards are even equipped with the ability to become interactive displays (with the help of a LCD projector).

Hopefully by now, you can see that we really meant it when we suggested in the first section of this article that you take some time and really learn what your electronic whiteboard is capable of.

Reviewing the GBC ShredMaster GSX168 Paper Shredder

Written by JeffMcRitchie on Thursday, March 11th, 2010 in Business.

Are you looking for a paper shredder that can withstand moderate use? Do you need a device that has a great shredding capacity and also offers just the right amount of security? If so, one machine that could be a good fit for you is the GBC ShredMaster GSX168. This is one of GBC’s newer products and it has a lot of excellent features for a paper shredder in its class. Let’s take a look at the strengths and weaknesses of the GSX168.

    The strengths:

    * The GSX168 has a really impressive shredding capacity. It can shred up to 16 sheets of paper per pass so you can shred more paper more quickly.

    * In addition to paper, this device can shred credit cards and CD’s/DVD’s. You can leave the paper clips and staples in your documents because the machine can shred them as well.

    * This machine offers Level 3 security so your private information will be completely safe. This is a cross-cut device and it will turn a piece of paper into numerous pieces measuring 1/6″ x 1-7/9″.

    * The GSX168 has a pretty roomy waste bin with an 8-gallon capacity. This means you won’t have to empty it constantly. The bin is located in a pull-out drawer so when you do have to empty it, it will be very easy.

    * This is a jam-free shredder that will enable you to be more productive. It has an indicator light to let you know if you’re trying to shred too much. When it lights up, just remove the extra paper and you’ll be able to keep shredding without any jams.

    * This machine will shut off automatically when you’re not using it. This makes it safe to use and it will also prevent the motor from overheating.

    * Each unit has casters so moving the shredder around won’t be difficult at all.

    * This product has a particularly impressive warranty. The machine itself is covered for two years while the cutters are covered for up to 20.

    The weaknesses:

    * This machine was made for moderate use and because of its shredding capacity, it’s not ideal for departmental use.

    * The GSX168 is a high-quality device and this is reflected in its rather high price tag. (The price is around the $400.00 mark.) The price may be off-putting to potential home users, especially during a recession.

The GBC ShredMaster GSX168 is ideal for environments in which one to three people will use it. It’s great for use in the workplace, as well as at home, even though the price might be a bit prohibitive for some individuals. However, this product is well worth the price due to its multimedia shredding capabilities and its special features, such as jam-free operation and the ability to shut off automatically. It also offers a great level of security so you can be confident that your private information won’t be stolen. And let’s not forget the terrific warranty. If your home office or workplace needs a high-quality shredder for moderate use, the GSX168 is definitely a machine you should consider.
