    Internet Response Leads Work Well For Telemarketing

    Accurate, targeted telemarketing lists are vital to the success of your marketing venture. If you don’t have the right list, then your venture is bound for certain failure. Locating the right marketing list means finding good information that gives reliable response rates.

    There are several different types of lists, but the two most common are complied data lists and Internet-generated response files. In this article, Internet generated response lists will be highlighted.

    The number of records on any given response list can range from thousands to millions. The common denominator between these disparate consumers is that they have all responded favorably to an Internet-generated response offer. Offers might include magazine subscriptions, downloads, requests for information, sweepstakes entries and a variety of different things.

    The “freshest” leads are contained in hotline files. Usually, they will have reponded to some offering within the last 14-21 days. On the other hand, because of the nature of it’s data, a response file typically degrades faster than other files.

    Response files created from the internet have their shortcomings. Due to the nature of data aggregation, inaccuracies within the data can be somewhat higher than with buyer-generated files. Also, people are more apt to enter erroneous contact information for internet offerings. While you should consider this shortcoming, the lower cost of these lists often offsets the rate of inaccuracy, making them a viable choice for many marketers.

    Additionally, by combining these lists with previously gathered data, such as personal interests and past buying history, you can create a much more comprehensive list that adds insight and impact, making your sales easier. Also, if you combine this data it will help you to make more accurate lists.

    The toughest problem encountered is matching the data. If you were to research data from compiled data with phone numbers you would find about a 25% success rate. Many phone numbers on response files belong to younger consumers not yet in compiled data. Another example is that response files tend to contain a large percentage of cell phone numbers, while landlines dominate complied data.

    For those looking for new leads and not wishing to only use compiled data, response files are very usful. Response buyer lists have proven to be one of the most effective and profitable ways to move businesses to the top! Lists like these are great when you are looking for people with a strong urge to buy things and respond well to multiples offers and deals.

    Many lists do not allow telemarketing. Most magazine current subscriber lists cannot be telemarketed, however, expired subscribers, in most cases, can be called. The balance of response files may or may not allow telemarketing - you will have to speak with the list manager to find out. Even if telemarketing the list is accepted, many list owners require a script prior to final approval.

    If you select a compiled file, you will generally not need approval for telemarketing unless you request children information. Again, in this case, you may be required to obtain offer and script approval. One last hurdle. Some lists may approve telemarketing, but not have telephone numbers. Then you will need to have a good data-processing service bureau append phone numbers to the list.

    Internet response files are a viable source of telemarketing leads.

I’d also like to build a nice cozy house in the mountains and own a nice SUV. I want to work from home and raise a family of my own. I want to visit Ireland and work on my family’s genealogy. I also wish to help out my family, who are in need of assistance themselves—I suppose I want to be the “hero” of the family.

    So I decided to try out this free offer. I set out with my goals and dreams and gave it a shot. I didn’t have much hope for this business, since my luck has never been very good. I have tried businesses such as this and never got very far. I was skeptical, naturally.

    “Where would I be now if I hadn’t quit? Where would I be if I had remained persistent and kept on going? After all they said to at least give it a year…”

    I jumped back onto the SFI bandwagon and made a personal promise that I was not going to give up again. I also realized something VERY important: I wasn’t going to reach my goals very fast without making some kind of investment in my dreams.

    That said, your “investments” shouldn’t stop with an IAHBE membership—actions as small as the costs of making copies of fliers to post around your town, reserving premium advertisement space in an online classified site (where your ad would get MUCH better coverage than a free one), or posting an ad in a local newspaper are also investments you can make in your home business.

    If you cannot afford to invest anything at this moment, don’t worry! Just continue to advertise any way you can. When you have sufficient funds, you can make your investment….It’s not a race!

    Work at your own pace, but overall, remember your dreams and your goals. Those are what you are striving for. And as long as you keep on working with SFI to reach those goals, and you DON’T GIVE UP, then you will reach those goals.

    I learned that lesson when I quit. This time, though, I am determined to succeed and to KEEP working towards my goals and dreams. And I have to say I am extremely satisfied with where I’m at right now with SFI!

    I started out JUST LIKE YOU did, and if I can make it here through determination, anyone can. If you want your dreams bad enough, you will get them.

    REMEMBER!! The successful DID NOT get where they are by GIVING UP! They were determined enough to reach their goals…and that’s just what they did.

    Making Your Web Site Work With Your Print Marketing

    Every Realtor knows where to go to get the business. You farm, hit FSBO’s, work expired listings and call into your sphere of influence. Part of the drill has always been to do some sort of mailing and follow up to each of these categories. But following up can be tricky.

    Working FSBO’s is as much about timing as anything, expired listings need gentle handling and working your sphere takes time. Sometimes it seems that you need to clone yourself just to keep up with it all. Your web site can help. If you do it well, your web site can be your clone. It can handle a lot of the leg work caused by your mail campaigns. But you need to tie the two together.

    Websites offer the advantages of flexibility, versatility and 24 hour virtual access to you. When you can’t be there, your website can, pumping up prospects with reasons to work with you. What a web site needs to do is extend your marketing. It needs to be there when that FSBO is frustrated and looking for help, and it needs to be there when that disappointed expired listing is almost ready to try again.

    When you send out mailers to these market segments, tying your print to your website is as simple as telling the prospect in print that your website has some helpful information. Letting FSBO’s know that you know how to help them sell, and telling expired listings that you know why their property didn’t sell is powerful stuff. Let the print tell them what you got and where to go to get it, and let the web site deliver it.

    For each of the market segments you work and mail to, your website should have an extensive section that covers it. In these sections you put all your best copy that has worked in the past. Here, you capture all your best dialogue and sales technique that convert prospects to listings and customers to sales. This makes the site an extension of you. Picture it as if you are standing on a front porch, trying to get past typical objections.

    Simply put, the site needs to have some killer copy that sells for you when you can’t be there to sell for yourself. In fact, you want your site to be your 24 hour a day sales partner. When a FSBO you’ve been working for the past two weeks gets frustrated at 2:00 am, you want him on your site. When an expired listing realizes they still want to sell, it’s your site you want them to go to. When someone in your sphere of influence wants the latest sales and listing info for their area, you want them searching for it on your site.

    You want your site to be a virtual you. There to follow up on the copy you sent out in your mailing. When that FSBO got your flyer in the mail today telling them you can help them sell in this troubled market, your website needs to back the claim up. And it needs to back the claim up in a way that positions you as an expert. The goal of the site is to pre qualify your prospects for you. By the time your phone rings from the result of your print and web campaign, you want the prospect ready to work with you.

    The site needs to educate the prospect much as you would if you were working with them face to face. When you’re dealing with an expired, you know that the biggest reason the property didn’t sell is price. You also know that that’s the hardest thing to get across to the prospect. But if you’ve set your expired listings section of your website up properly, you’ve given the prospect enough third party statistics that back up your claim. You’ve also educated them to your way of thinking about pricing along the way.

    What your print campaigns need to do is let all these folks know that the answers they seek are on your site. The copy you produce in print needs to be the bait that entices prospects to your site. Without the print, they will likely never know that your site exists and that it holds the answers to all their questions.

    Your print copy needs to cut through the clutter that comes in the mail every day. It needs to get the attention of the prospect, and it needs to get them interested in what you have to offer. Print copy, like any good copy needs to be written in a way that understands what the prospect needs, and then delivers it to them. Once it has their attention, it needs to get them excited about your website.

    Print to web coordination is effective when a synergy is created that lead prospects to rely on you as the sole source of real estate information. You want the two streams to convince prospects that you are the exclusive and best source of information around when it comes to real estate.

    A scanner is a device that has succeeded telephotography. These days, there are different scanners being sold in the market.

    A scanner is an input device that:

    - scans images

    - prints text

    - prints handwriting

    - prints an object and converts it to digital images

    Kinds of Scanners

    - Drum scanners have rotating drums with a one-photo detector for a standard speed of 60 or 120 rpm. Using a telephone voice line to receptor, they can send linear analog AM signals. It prints the proportional intensity on special paper synchronously. This was used from the 1920s to the 1990s.

    Color photos were sent as three separated and repeated RGB filtered images. This was only used occasionally because of the transmission cost.

    - Desktop scanners or flatbed scanners found in offices are common examples of scanners. Documents are placed on the glass window for scanning.

    - Handheld scanners are devices moved by hand. It evolves from text scanning to 3D scanners which are used for:

    • industrial design

    • reverse engineering

    • test measurement

    • orthotics

    • gaming and more

    These mechanically-driven scanners are used for large-format documents. Flatbed designs are not practical.

    What these scanners use:

    1. Modern scanners use image sensors such as:

    • Charge-coupled device (CCD) or

    • Contact Image Sensor (CIS)

    2. Older drum scanners use a photomultiplier tube as its image sensor.

    3. Rotary Scanner uses a CCD selection instead of a photomultiplier. Rotary Scanner is used for express document scanning. This is another type of drum scanner.

    4. Planetary Scanner takes photographs of books and documents.

    5. 3D Scanners are used for producing three-dimensional models of objects.

    Color scanners usually have three rows of sensors with:

    • red

    • green and

    • blue filters

    The images are scanned by placing images face down on the glass. An opaque cover is lowered over it so as to cover ambient light. The sensor selection will move over the pane in order to read the entire copy. Due to the reflecting light, the image becomes visible to the charge-coupled device. See-through images do not work this way. It needs special accessories in order to light them up from the upper side.

    Scanning is only a part of the process. In order to make the scanned object useful, it must be transferred to an application running on the computer.

    There are two basic issues with this:

    1. the physical connection of the scanner to the computer and

    2. the information retrieval of the application from the scanner

    The Physical Connection of the Scanner to the Computer

    The amount of data gathered by a scanner can be very large.

    For example: A 600 DPI 9” x 11” uncompressed 24-bit image. It consumes about 100 megabytes. With this, uncompressed data is transferred and stored on the computer. The latest scanners can gather this volume of data in a matter of seconds. It makes a desirably fast connection.

    Application Programming Interface

    An application must be able to communicate with scanners such as Adobe Photoshop. There are different scanners and each scanner has different protocols. The application does not require knowing the specific details of the scanner so as to access it directly.
